Built into the home, not bolted on
Pools, decks, terraces, outdoor kitchens and integrated landscape, solved as one with the architecture and the site rather than added afterward. The grade, the drainage, the sightlines and the structure have to be worked out together, which is why we take outdoor living on as part of a custom home or a whole-estate renovation, where we can build it in from the start. We don’t take standalone pool or deck-only commissions.

View-property and waterfront sites
Grade, drainage, view corridors and structure carried over slope and rock, the same complex-site competence that the houses ask for. An ocean view earns its place in the design; it doesn’t survive being an afterthought.
Working with your landscape architect and designer
We coordinate with the landscape architect and the design team, build to their drawings, and credit them on the project. The detail lives at the edges, the stone, the water line, the transition from terrace to interior, and that’s where the collaboration matters most.

Every home is covered by BC’s 2-5-10 New Home Warranty, two years on materials and labour, five on the building envelope, ten on the structure, backed by a licensed third-party insurer. Do you build pools and outdoor living spaces on their own?
We build outdoor living as part of a custom home or an estate renovation, where it can be integrated from the start, not as a standalone pool, deck or landscape job. Built in, it reads as architecture; bolted on, it rarely does.
Can you build a pool or terrace on a sloped or waterfront lot?
Yes, grade, drainage and structure are solved with the site, the same way we approach the house. It’s the kind of ground we’ve built on for forty years.
Will you coordinate with our landscape architect?
Yes, we build to the landscape architect’s and design team’s drawings and credit them on the project. The detail lives at the edges, and that’s where the coordination matters.
